Health and Social Care Partnerships (HSCPs) were introduced in 2015 to bring together adult social work and social care, adult primary health care and unscheduled adult hospital care.

Some, including in East Dunbartonshire, are also responsible for children’s services and criminal justice social work.

East Dunbartonshire HSCP is currently preparing a new Strategic Plan for 2025-30 that sets out how we will plan and deliver services.

Throughout July and August, we asked partners, stakeholders and the general public for thoughts on what the main challenges were for health and social care locally.

We also asked for views on what the main priorities should be over the next five years, in order to address these challenges.

The HSCP Board agreed with these conclusions and asked for the new Strategic Plan to be built around them. We have now developed a draft Strategic Plan 2025-30 built around these identified challenges and priorities.

When preparing a new Strategic Plan, an HSCP Board must ensure that partners, stakeholders and members of the public are engaged in the process, so we are inviting views and comments to aid discussion and to give stakeholders the opportunity to give feedback to the HSCP on this draft plan. Your feedback is very much appreciated and will be taken into account when finalising the plan.

For the avoidance of doubt, the plan is in draft format to aid discussion and give stakeholders the opportunity to feedback to the HSCP. It does not represent the final format and layout of the Strategic Plan.

The consultation period runs from Monday 18 November 2024 until Friday 10 January 2025 and you can share your views on our survey below.

Please use this survey to share your views on the draft Strategic Plan which can be found in the documents section below.
