Health and wellbeing training and CPD

The East Dunbartonshire Public Health Improvement Team aim to build and strengthen the capacity of staff and partners to improve health and tackle health inequalities.

Our work aligns to Scotland's Public Health Priorities:

  • Live in vibrant, healthy and safe places and communities
  • Have good mental wellbeing
  • Reduce the use of and harm from alcohol, tobacco and other drugs
  • Have a sustainable, inclusive economy with equality of outcomes for all
  • Eat well, have a healthy weight and are physically activity.

The team plan and support a number of training opportunities or awareness sessions taking place online or at a wide range of venues across East Dunbartonshire. Courses are available for health, local authority, education and voluntary sector staff and can be tailored for a particular organisation when demand is sufficient.
